From 2003-04 to 2008-09

A. 2003-04

    13.09.03: Dr. Hargopal Reddy Dean faculty of law, Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh was invited to deliver a lecture on preventive Detention under the institution of India.

    11.10.03: Janatha Education Society in association with Law-Forum and other institution arranged a felicitation function(ceremony) to honor the two great personalities of our institution on their elevation to the High court of Karnataka on 08.09.03.

B. 2004-05

October 2004: SICHREM (South Indian Cell for Human Rights Education Monitoring) Amnesty International and Law Forum VCL arranged a lecture on Justifiability on Death Penalty Mr. Tony Matthew from SICHREM spoke on this subject.

    12.10.04: Senior advocate, High Court of Karnataka Sri H.N. Nagmohan Das delivered a lecture on Higher Education and judiciary.

    29.01.05: Our institution arranged a guest lecture in association with Law-Forum. Dr. B.M. Mohan Director of forensic science laboratory and Dr.Malini.S Asst Director FSL Bangalore were invited and a very effective lecture with power point presentation was delivered by the guest speakers especially with reference to finger prints, brain mapping and Norco analysis tests.

C. 2005-06

    15.10.05: Sri Chandrasekhar, member secretary KSLSA, Bangalore and Sri John Johnson, Psychiatrist NIMHANS delivered lectures on ‘Mental Health Act’.

    04.03.06: The Law-Forum arranged a guest lecture on Dowry Prohibition Act in view of International Women’s Week. Honurable Justice Jaganathan Judge High Court of Karnataka delivered a lecture on Dowry Prohibition Act.

D. 2006-07

    14.10.06: Sri S.P. Shankar, Senior Advocate, High Court of Karnataka delivered a lecture on ‘Nuances of Art.21 of Indian Constitution’ organized by Law-Forum.

    17.10.06: Dr. Suresh, NIMHANS and smt.Indrakala, District Judge, Bangalore Rural were invited by the Law-Forum to deliver a lecture on ‘Assessment of Disability’

    22.03.07: Sri D.B. Chandre Gowda, Former speaker Karnataka Legislative assembly and ex-minister Govt.of Karnataka gave a special lecture on ’Inter State Water Disputes with reference to Cauvery’.

E. 2007-08

    01.09.07: Dr. T.R. Suramanya Professor and Dean Dept of Law, Bangalore University was invited to give a lecture on ‘Emergency on Environmental Law in India’. This lecture was arranged by our institution in association with Law-Forum.

    28.09.07: Sri. Y.G. Muralidharan, Director CREAT (Consumer Rights Education and Awareness Trust) delivered a lecture on “Right to Information Act, 2005”.

    05.10.09: Sri. Amarnath Gowda, Attorney USA and Dr. T. Ramakrishna, Professor of Law, NLSIU, and Bangalore were invited by our institution in association with Janatha Education Society to deliver a talk on ‘Career opportunities in Law in USA’ and ‘use of Information Technology Law in India’ respectively.

    29.02.08: Dr.B.K.Ravendra,Principle & Dean SPM College of Law, Mangalore gave a special lecture on ‘Human Rights Protection in India’.

F. 2008-09

    24.09.08: Sri.Krishnappa Asst.Commissioner of police,Malleshwaram West Division delivered a lecture on ‘Law and Crime’ organized under the argis of Law-Forum.

    21.10.08: In a Law-Forum lecture Dr. C. Basavaraju, Professor and Dean, PG Dept of Law, Mysore University delivered a lecture on “The Role of Public Interest Litigation”- an easy access to justice.

    18.02.09: Sri.Sanjay Veer Singh a very decorated and illustrious IP officer and presently the Registrar of Bangalore University was invited to give lecture on ‘Cyber Laws and cyber crimes in India’. The expert lecture was truly very informative and demonstrative with power point presentation which being exceptional.
