Five Years LL.B
Degree Semester Course (Intake - 80)

a. A candidate for admission to this course shall have passed the PUC / 10+2 years of schooling recognized by the educational authorities of the central or state government or posses such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to such 10+2 courses by the Bar Council of India.

b. A candidate who fulfills the above requirement shall have obtained not less than 45% of the aggregate marks of the qualifying examination.

c. Reservations for the SC/ST and other backward classes shall be made in accordance with the directions of Government in force, from time to time.

Duration of the course

a. The course of study extends over a period of five academic years and consists of ten semesters.

b. However, a candidate who successfully completes the first three years shall be eligible for the award of the Degree of Bachelor of Academic Law (B.A.Law).

Three Years LL.B
Degree Semester Course (Intake - 160)

a. A candidate for admission to this course shall posses a degree of Bangalore University or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto.

b. Such candidates shall have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% of marks in all the Degree examination put together.

c. The student should belong to the 10+2+3 pattern of studies.

d. Reservations for the SC/ST and other backward classes shall be governed by the University/Govt.orders.

Duration of the course

The course of study extends over a period of three academic years and consists of six semesters. The medium of Instruction is English.

(However the examination may be written either in English or Kannada)
