Janatha Education Society, started in 1972 is dedicated to serve the cause of education in Karnataka. It is presently managing 11 institutions at four campuses.

VIVEKANANDA COLLEGE OF LAW was started in the year 1982-83 with three years LL.B Course and subsequently, in the year 1986-87, Five years LL.B. Course was also started, when it was first introduced by the Bangalore University.

The College is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University and recognised by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
