ABOUT OUR ESTABLISHMENT & ACHIEVEMENTS

VIVEKANANDA COLLEGE OF LAW was started in the year 1983 with the 3 Yrs.LL.B.,Course. It also started the 5 Yrs LL.B., Course in the year 1986, when it was first introduced by the Bangalore University.

The College is Approved by the Bar Council of India. New Delhi & Affiliated to Karnataka Law University.

Our Education system includes Class – Room teaching, Online and Offline research, Social Service activities, Moot Court, Legal Aid, Legal Service, Programs such as Afforestation and of Social Importance.

The College functions from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The Library shall function from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The E-Library shall be in function during college hours.

The Founder Principal, Prof. M.R. Janardhan went on to become the Advocate General of Karnataka.

Prof. H.G. Ramesh, who served the institution as the Principal occupied the position of Judge, High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore.

Prof. Rangavittalachar, Prof. Kumaraswamy & Prof. H. Billapa, Guest Faculty members, were also elevated to the High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore as Judges.

Sri.V.S. Ugrappa, Guest Faculty member is currently the spokesman of KPCCI and the Leader of Opposition in Karnataka State Legislative Council.

Sri.D.L. Jagadeesh, the Ex- President of Advocates Association of Bangalore, was also an esteemed Guest Faculty of our institution.

Prof. C. Chandrashekar, once a full- time lecturer in our College is serving as a Civil Judge.

Many of the alumni of our institution are serving in important positions at various organizations.
